Facts about AARON MORTON -
With ten years of extensive experience, Prof. Aaron Morton, a first degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Master Royler Gracie, has instructed all levels of Jiu Jitsu including both adults and children. Aaron also holds a second degree Black Belt in Judo with more than 13 years of experience in the sport.
Aaron has completed the Gracie Humaitá Self Defense & Teacher Course, has completed the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Level I Judo certification and is also a Canadian Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (CBJJF) referee. His competition experience in both BJJ and Judo is extensive; Aaron has successfully fought in local and national tournaments throughout Western Canada and the United States. He has also competed in two MMA fights and won both by submission.
Outside of the studio, Aaron is a Professional Engineer and a Director at a Calgary-based engineering firm.
Aaron loves to incorporate his great sense of humor in his instruction and takes pride in teaching others to learn and succeed in the gentle art.
